Is this a scam ? What should I do ?

Hello , I bought a dvd on ebay at 6th March. And it said it will delivered at 9th March. But now on my ebay , it still didn't mark as delivered. The seller provided a tracking number. It uses Royal Mail. I use the tracking number to check but Royal Mail said "Tracking information is not available for this service". It never happened to me before. I asked the seller but he didn't reply me. Is this a scam ? And what should I do now ? I need my dvd fast. Should I buy the dvd again on amazon ? But what if the seller on ebay isn't a scammer ? Then I will waste my money to buy that dvd again. I am really confuse and don't know what to do...

If you can I would give it a few days, we're very busy at the moment given the weather disruption lately. If it is a royal mail signed for, (prefix R) tacking number it won't update until it's delivered.

Let us know if it turns up.

This is the tracking number : 0501A9F32BE. Also , I have already buy it last week , so I think its impossible to not shipped yet lol.

That's not a Royal Mail tracking number.

Could be a 2D code.

For Customer: Which is only trackable by the sender AFAIK.

As said some delays are still being experienced but we should be caught up soon.

But this item is already marked as shipped a few days ago. It won't delay that long lol.

Well if you don't think we are right, the people who are working the backlog, there's not much more that can be said.

But no it doesn't look like a scam to me.

As True Blue Terrier said the tracking number you have been given looks more like a tracking number that can be
used by the sender and Royal Mail processing systems to confirm delivery.

It's not a tracking code that you the receiver can use to identify where the package is on its journey to you.

When you get the packet you will probably see a square QR code on the packet with that number/letter tracking sequence
you have been given printed below it.
