Hello all and thank you for taking the time to read this thread.
Im in a bit of a sticky situation. Bought an item in the UK and desperately needed it today. The seller told me Royal Mail worked fine in spain and not to bother with UPS etc. SO i trusted him.
Posted Wednesday from UK and since friday 9am it is stuck on "ON ITS WAY TO BARAJAS SPAIN".
Spanish post and customs assure me they have not even recieved it yet but RM also tell me that they dont have it... Surely it doesnt take a week to do Heathrow - Madrid by plane...? or even by Lorry.

Any help on this would be MUCH appreciated.

You managed to speak to Spanish customs? Most customs services don't enter into correspondence with the general public. If it wasn't for that comment, I would say that it was stuck in customs.

I phoned Spanish post and then asked to be redirected to their customs outpost in BArajas airport. Told me it wasnt there... They also told me to be sure to enter my tracking number on their customs website to check.. and nothing. They are saying royal mail is slow and useless and royal mail are saying they are liars and have it.... going round in circles with no answers from them so far...
