Anyone at RM to report fraud to?

Post by pepsi_max2k »

Hey all, I'm a professional eBay seller, and have just uncovered a lovely little user who's spent the last few years claiming never to have received, what seems like, every single item they've purchased on there - I recon it would amount to around £15,000 worth. Clearly, either one extremely poor postal service, or - given the user turns out to have previous convictions for the sale of stolen property on eBay, and has used some very stange excuses - one lying little so n so.

While waiting for the police to get back to me, I figured RM may also want to know, given that his claims have already prompted a number of innocent sellers to file missing item claims with RM, withRM no double refunding a substantial amount of funds to sellers who's items haven't actually gone missing at all.

Not sure if anyone would really care though, but if you do have a fraud division or whatnot, please do let me know :) Thanks.

you can try contact Royal Mail Customer Care on 08457 740 740 but no doubt they will pass it on to the police or you can email them http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/jump ... d=64100716" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You could always phone your local mail center and ask to talk to someone from P.O.I.D

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Waste of time getting in touch with royal mail, they won't help you. I used to spend about £30 a week on things from Ebay but from August to December last year I never received anything I ordered so have giving up Ebay for good now. I even sent a birthday card to my son last week and that never got there. It's complete anarchy in the royal mail since it was privatised - a thieves paradise.

Fair warning. You seem to have resurrected a 7-year-old thread merely to have a dig at us "thieves paradise".

This is not welcome on a forum designed for posties to vent and discuss issues, and of who the vast majority are honest and hard working. There will always be some bad eggs in any workplace and when there are 140,000 working for Royal Mail its a nearly impossible not have any at all. So please don't tar us all with the same brush.

The fair warning is if you go too far or it causes too much trouble for the Moderators we may delete posts and in extremis, we may consider deleting your account. Now your posts are welcome and if you wish please continue to post, just please bear the above in mind.

Thanks.
