So .......we had the biggest vote in the history of man only to be taken to the high court and stiffed for costs and made not to strike, then we have weeks and weeks of feck all, then we have an announcement that was put off just so some spivs and insider dealers could make a quick buck, then the so called deal of the Century or `on the cusp of greatness or whatever bollocks it was called and I've had to tell my members sorry you will have to wait again until next week but I can't even furnish you with the basics but rest assured that eventually we will have somebody turn up from Divdingo wrote:Every National Agreement is subject to a vote of the Postal executive , this has happened on every National Agreement. Once the Postal Executive have voted to accept the agreement and recommend it to the members it is than it will be subject to wider consultation.
First will be a two day meeting of the Div Reps , than a National Briefing and that 9 Divisional meetings where the unit reps will be in attendance.
During this time Divisions and Branch’s will decide where they will be recommending the agreement to their members or recommending rejection.
In addition there will loads of gate meetings to discuss the merits or otherwise of the agreement to the members.
The members will than have the final say in a vote.
