Trying to identify where a lovely gift was posted from so I can thank the sender, as I can’t figure out the cryptic note they included!
Many thanks in advance!

That information is meant to be secret.
But.
Call P.O. customer services on 03457 22 33 44 and ask very nicely, they will often tell you.

I'm afraid that the customer services number is entirely automated now so there is no way of asking anyone for the branch code. I have found a list of branches online with 'Location OU codes' which was extracted through a freedom of information request - but these do not seem to be equivalent to branch codes nor do the longitude and latitude numbers, or at least not for the branch I am trying to locate. If you want to find it here is the link: https://osm.mathmos.net/postoffice/data/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; you may have better luck than I did.
