I have sent two parcels recently to the UK via Langley. One disappeared so I paid to have its replacement tracked. It has apparently been sitting in Langley for over a week.
I notice that many other posters have lost or delayed parcels via Langley.
No point in trying tracking as the PO informs us:
1) That Langley only tracks AFTER final delivery . DUH! you don't need tracking AFTER delivery!
2) If you click on the enquiries link above, the PO on - line service informs that due to the number of enquiries about Langley they no longer accept enquiries or complaints about that centre. Things are so bad that the PO abdicates its responsibility.

Is Langley fit for service?
Yes it is fit for service at least the Royal mail side is.
You may not be aware that "Langley", Heathrow or HWDC (all names for the same place) also has a Customs detachment in it that works separately from Royal Mail. That's where the delay is.
Usually, when it enters Royal Mail processes and it requires a scan to update tracking, that will be done at the earlist opportunity, and unless there is a fee to pay delivery normally occurs within a few days of the first scan.
