Hello!
I have a little question regarding a package. I ordered headphones from ebay on 21th November, and the seller posted it on 22th November using "Royal Mail International Signed" (it's a EU delivery).
Today is 29th, and checking the tracking number at Royal Mail site says:
Item LB137702985GB was posted at 175 Woodgrange D SS1 2SF on 22/11/17 and is being progressed through our network for delivery.
https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-it ... 37702985GB" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I contacted Royal Mail chat support, and they said they haven't received the item from the post office. So i sent a complaint to postoffice.co.uk, but allegedly it takes up to 14 working days for them to respond...
I'm wondering is it ok for the package to be in the postal office that long? According to Google Maps it's a tiny one. Or maybe it's already on the road, and the messages haven't been updated?
I'm worrying it might be lost, and i was really hoping for it to arrive within 7 working days, because i will go away for a longer time on next Tuesday, so nobody can pick up the package.
So is it a normal situation?

I'm reading this here:
https://personal.help.royalmail.com/app ... il/a_id/62" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
"International Signed - tracking within the UK and signature on delivery*"
Could it be that the "Royal Mail International Signed" one is not trackable after it leaves the UK?

You should have a few more tracking points in the UK. It looks to me like a fault with the tracking system that was affecting a lot of items about 5 or 6 years ago. This results in a total failure of all tracking after the first scan, but the parcel still arrives.

Postoffice confirmed that local branch sent out every item on the same day, yet Royal Mail insists they haven't picked it from them. WEIRD?

That’s exactly what happens with the issue I described in my last post.usernmd wrote:Postoffice confirmed that local branch sent out every item on the same day, yet Royal Mail insists they haven't picked it from them. WEIRD?

So i'm not sure, Royal Mail says their International Signed takes 2-5 business days to ship within EU. It's been a lot longer than that and no info, including no changes in tracking info. Have no previous experience with Royal Mail, so i don't know how much it can delay before i should start filing a dispute in eBay?

Royal Mail and eBay have 2 separate processes. Put in a dispute on eBay now.
Also I would still insist on making a complaint with Royal Mail and/or the Post Office despite their 15 day time limit.

I think the seller is legit as it's a bulk seller with thousands of sells and 99.8% feedback. I opened a resolution center to let him contact Royal Mail and see whether he can get something more out of them. Royal Mail says the seller has to contact them to get more info.

So it still haven't arrived. The seller offered to refund it, which i hope he does. But i'm sure if it hasn't arrived by now it is lost somewhere in the "vortex". I contact Royal Mail again, and they said again they haven't picked it up. Lol.
