I just saw that the status of my ordered items says DELIVERED 31/10/17 STAINES PDO
I live in Egham, which is right next to Staines but it's still weird. What does it mean? Am i supposed to go to the PDO? What is a PDO?
Im so confused.
Please help.

Either it has been delivered to the wrong address.
Or it has been scanned "as delivered" before it should have been and might be on its way to you.

Contact RM and they should be able to tell you where it was scanned.
The scanning should give them a gps location.

PDO is a postal delivery office. It might be that your postman works out of Staines?

Given the proximity of Egham to Staines, it is quite likely that Staines PDO covers your address.

The “delivered” message also appears on the tracking when an item with a customs charge reaches the PDO which covers the destination address. I would expect a grey “charge to pay” postcard to come through your door in the next day or two.

You are correct of course. I wonder why that is.
Surely sending a message saying "you have a customs charge" wouldn't be too difficult to engineer.
Sending a "delivered" message is plainly wrong and confusing.

It seems to me that RM regard items waiting at a PDO fo customs charge payment in exactly the same way that they regard items waiting for collection at a P.O. Box. But you are right, while this might make some sense internally it is nonsense to customers.
