Hi. I had an interview on Tuesday. Two days before the interview I went down to the delivery office to explain that I had recently sent my driver's licence away to change my address, so wouldn't be able to bring it with me. Guy at the counter phoned the manager, who later interviewed me, and he said no problem. Interview seemed to go well. Manager said all my documents were OK. Told that I should find out the outcome in about 2-3 weeks. Got this e-mail today. Any advice as to what I could have done wrong would be much appreciated.

Unfortunately (if it was the lack of Driving Licence that caused the problem) what a local manager might say and do and what the Recruiting/HR TeamGaryxn wrote:Hi. I had an interview on Tuesday. think at RM Ivory Towers are two different things. Not wishing to sound harsh but as far as they're concerned you needed to show a driving licence - you apparently
didn't have one in your possession and the job was for Postperson with driving - therefore you couldn't prove you can legally drive, so there
was no point in allowing you to continue through the recruitment process.

Finally got a call from Human Resources this morning. Told me that the manager had written that I hadn't taken my driving licence. After I explained what had happened previously I was told that the manager had wasted my time. Told to re-apply if I wanted to.
