How does everyone know there isn't much chance of a better deal. Did this pay deal start with a one off lump sum payment and no percentage added our pay? Remember, the way you do you job will affect colleagues for years to come - if you cut corners to do it quick, they will be expected to as well....and then RM will add extra work to fill the gaps.

Imagine the scenario for a moment, when we strike over our pensions we'll stand to lose hundreds of pounds in lost earnings, but so as we don't lose
tens of thousands of pounds when we need it most, in retirement.
The "I can't afford to strike" whine, will come back at you with a resounding whack on that one, mate.

What the hell did we strike for and lose virtually 2 weeks wages. What planet are the nec on to recommend this deal? We've virtually lost on every score!

A bit like that time in 1981 when we had a vote on not working on Saturdays or continuing to work on Saturdays, but with a substantial pay rise. Everyone I ever met for years after voted to have Saturdays off, but the vote was in favour of keeping them. As Swerve says -do the job properly!!! Shaft them before they shaft us.For years they've relied on goodwill and our determination to get the job done but also to make time. This morning in our office we had extra sorters on overnight but still nobody cleared-in until 6am. You could see the shock and panic in their faces. Therefore they couldn't really put out any more work as they knew it would all be coming back. 9 walks didn't go out as it was. Just get used to finishing 2pm (or whatever your time is) - don't give them a minute.
