Help with Tracking :D

Post by TheForest »

Hello,

quick questions, if I didn't have a busy day planned I'd just sit and wait for it today and tomorrow but I have to know if my parcel will arrive today.

Parcel has arrived at XXXXXX Mail Centre on the 2017-06-13 and we are currently processing it.

14-JUN-2017 09:06 Accepted at Outward Mail Centre

does that mean it's on it's way in one of your vans with one of your postal workers?
or does it mean that it's being prepared for delivery and once it is in transit the tracking function will automatically update it with " ON ITS WAY" or what ever.

btw my tracking number only has point A and B, no in-betweens and it's currently sitting on a Green dot on POINT A (labelled "Received into our network), point B, which is labeled as Delivered.

so it must be in transit right?

cheers and sorry for the confusing post, don't really want to share my tracking number and location due to the creeps of the internet. :cuppa

No - its entered the system, but at the opposite end - depending on the service used it should be delivered sometime this week.

But certainly not today.

Normally with a tracked parcel, you would know by 9/10am at the latest on the day it's due for delivery. The website would get updated saying that your parcel is "out for delivery". Depending on the office, this scan can take place as early as 6am so track it in the mornings and you should get a better idea when to wait in for your postie. :thumbup
