Exerting some pressure on Sauid Arabia and the other Gulf states that tacitly support Isis would be a start, rather than the approach the current and previous governments have had with these countries. That would inevitably have an effect on our economy though.fishtank wrote:Ok.It's right that we should confront Jihadists
What's your plan?
Every attempt by western governments to confront Jihadist extremism head on has failed and not just failed but proper f****d up failed by making the situation worse and increasing the danger of terrorist attacks not only in western countries but more frequently in the countries where we have intervened.
I can hear a lot of blowhard, let's kick some ass, get tough shite but I'm not seeing even the tiniest glimpse of an idea that isn't same s**t-different day. Remind me what Einstein didn't say about the definition of insanity...

Shame we don't have proportional representation as this is a hardline tory constituency.

Good, let's hope we get a Tory government with T May at the helm, dealing with Brexit and terrorism in a robust manner with her wide range of experience.![]()

Your making things up.Hollande sent troops on to the street to force through his labour reforms.NWpostie wrote:Unfortunately its Hobson's choice, do we have Corbyn in with his hard left views and economic policies that is going to be a disaster, the rich and the top ten businesses will just leave, just look at what happened in France. Hollande 75% tax, that didn't help anyone as the rich soon left and there was no money coming in to fund Hollande ambitious socialist plans.
Its a shame we didn't have Andy Bunham as leader as he represented the third way, he also had plenty of government experience, he knows hows run a government.
I would have voted for him.
NOT Corbyn.
Postie votes against saving his job because Labour leader talked to member of Sinn Fein.I hope you will back the call for Prince Charles to be held in the Tower for shaking Gerry Adams hand.NWpostie wrote:
