Package - ON DELIVERY 2 days ago

Post by thehazzard »

Hi I have a package that has been "ON DELIVERY" at my local depot Bow PDO since 08/05, it is now 10/05.

I assumed that on 08/05 the driver may have ran out of time, so expected the delivery to take place the following day, but 09/05 passed and nothing was delivered.

It is now 10/05. What would you suggest is going on?

Without a tracking number, or the output from the track and trace its difficult to say. There are some legitimate reasons why it would show out for delivery, but not actually be delivered, the track and trace MAY help us identify if there is an issue.

Sorry, can't see any reason why you don't have it. Best thing to do now is to contact Royal Mail and see if they can investigate it, the best way is by tweeting @royalmail - the people of RMs twitter are very proactive and hopefully should be able to help. They have a better track and trace than is available to the public or even posties.

Sometimes mail is held back if there is VAT to pay, but it doesn't look like this is the case in this instance.

You may have to contact RM customer services direct on 0345 774 0740 but their call handling system to speak to a real person can be quite taxing so give Twitter a try first.

Good luck.

I'll go and tweet them, but my depot closes a bit later today, so after work i'll pop on over and see what the crack is.
