I don't know where you get months from it's actually 51 days to the election. I don't think it's going to be a landslide but I do think she'll increase her majority and waffling leftist Corbyn will be consigned to the past from whence he came.
I was re-quoting Jetblacks comment, hence the quotation marks and reference.
Why not show it as a quote in the normal fashion unless you agreed with the timescale.
is that a riddle?
I used quotation marks to highlight the part of Jetblack's comment to which I was responding, (which involved cutting out the Cardinal Richeleiu quote that was used, as it was not relevant). But to be honest it did n't even occur to me that the comment a 'few months' (there's them pesky quotation marks again) rather than 51 days was used, is that really important/relevant it was just a turn of phrase that was being used by Jetblack. It was the point about the media that was the salient point worth addressing......actually are you taking the piss??

For the record as anyone who knows me on here will testify I'm as likely to vote Tory as you are to accept that Corbyn is a disaster for the working classes.
Yeah - I nearly forgot - SNP for FT

BTW - Lib/Lab pact anyone ?
Of course, the SNP can't/won't form an alliance with Labour unless Labour commit to indyref2/3/4 etc etc. which for Labour would be akin to slitting their own throat.
Given that the SNP hold sway in the Scottish Parliament - and given that they are tied up in a knot of their own making in Westminster - you'd have to say that a vote for the SNP in a General Election is as good as a vote for the Conservatives.

Push has come to shove now chaps - berate Corbyn all you like - but any other vote than for Labour and you are re-opening the door to another 5 years of Tory rule and all that that entails.
I suspect a low turnout - and you might well consider abstention yourselves - but this also is, in effect, a vote for the Tories - for they know where their interests lay, and will to a man/woman turnout.

Well a viable labour party could put a stop to the conservative steam train BUT this isn't a viable labour party. On the election debate in parliament Tess spoke for about 12 minutes to put forward the case for an election, whereas Jezza spoke for about 3 reiterating the usual claptrap "a fairer society for all, jobs for all with a house to boot". It won't wash I'm afraid in order to actually do anything he would need to be in government AND he would need to actually cost everything. He keeps harping on about austerity and the NHS and Schools and poverty but doesn't say HOW he is going to achieve any improvement. He's a throwback to the seventies and despite the hatred on here for Blair he DID win three elections.

They'll be lucky to hold onto the one they have here in Scotland, The Conservatives are polling better than them up here.

Yep - the Conservatives are laughing all the way to the bank. Well done SNP :Applause

I'm beginning to see why Rupert Murdoch was so "fond" of Salmond. It was never in doubt why Salmond needed Murdoch of course.

so the SNP are to blame for Labour's incompetence ... here is a fact for you .. if everyone in Scotland voted Labour we would still get a Tory government ... it is not our fault that England has went further to the right ... blame yourselves and not the SNP ... Labour have never stood up for Scotland Labour stand up for Labour they put party first every single time ... as long as SNP have a simple majority we will still have a cast iron mandate to demand another Indy Referendum ... Brexit is going to be a disaster they think London will remain the financial centre of the EU ... how can it be the financial centre of the EU if the rUK is no longer part of the EU ... and London losing over £100 billion per year from the financial services

For Gods sake get off the indy band wagon, you had one and LOST ffs would you keep playing the FA Cup til the team you supported eventually won. Well London WAS the financial centre BEFORE the EU and there s no evidence to support your claim that there will be a 100 billion loss per year henny penny.

we have a mandate for another one Brexit triggered it

so do you seriously think London will remain the financial centre of the EU, if London is no longer in the EU ... before UK joined the ECM banking was more open to do banking in Europe your main office has to be in a EU country .... London benefits by over a £100 billion from doing banking and finance services through the EU ... that will go banks and financial institutions are already jumping ship

But he will, purely on the basis of his never-ending "Scots wa hae" stuff.
It's useful for Wee Burney to portray Brexit as the Armageddon but maybe the little dumpling should look to her own party first, as it seems quite a few Scots have big reservations about where the one party state SNP is leading them. :hmmmm

it is our decision to make and not that Tory witch Theresa May, their is nothing to stop us holding our own Referendum an advisory referendum much like Brexit or even more extreme UDI Unilateral Declaration of Independence campaign on the grounds of a simple majority of SNP MPs elected to Westminster = Independence basically 30 MPs .... i think you'll find a whole host of countries will recognise our Independence all 27 EU countries for example :nana
President Sturgeon?
our parliamentary leader has always been called "First Minister" it pre- dates the act of union and the act of crowns we are not interested in copying others

An advisory referendum is just that, brexit wasn't advisory as you can see,who would pay attention to Mrs Krankie, the other 27 EU countries? How long do you think that'll last with the UK not there to fund it. No wonder Angela Merkel is kacking herself, she's up for election this year und Deutchland will end up paying more. Did you mean the act of clowns, you just couldn't hope to be financially viable without the cash from westminster. Can you tell me the last nation that declared UDI from the UK? As for Mrs Krankie, I'll bet there's a number of descriptions other than "First Minister" attributable to her north and south of the border.
