I always order from this site and it's sent same day and arrives next day using 1st class recorded. The item was sent Thursday but with it being a bank holiday today, no post.
Will it arrive tomorrow or Tuesday with royal mail being busy during bank holidays and more parcels to deliver?

First class recorded is not guaranteed to arrive any particular day. That said, it has as good a chance of arriving tomorrow as it does any other pair of working days.
Not sure if RM get busier at Bank Holidays other than the run up to Christmas. There is a bit of a spike in internet shopping when the kids are off school, not sure if that is offset by reductions in other types of business mail.
