Hi
it says my package RQ009158125CY was attempted to be delivered twice and was unclaimed. this makes no sense as i was in the flat those days and noone tried to deliver it and noone left a note like they ususally do! now it says its in heathrow but im furious as there is no way to contact and see what to do about it. i will be in london in a few days and would even be willing to pick this up myself but i cant arrange that. Can someone tell me what is happening with my parcel and if it is on its way back to cyprus?

I take it that you live in Edinburgh? It's possible that the address is incorrect or ambiguous, so the postie has gone to the wrong place and the parcel has been refused as "not known at this address". The address format used for tenements in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee causes a lot of confusion.

I am not even certain that this was a Royal Mail item despite the mention of HWDC in the tracking.
The reason behind this is that it won't track on RMs system, and when you track it on an International tracking system one of the status reports says
"Scheduled for further delivery attempt today" . Royal Mail do not, and as far as I am aware never have had a status like this, and certainly a reattempted delivery on the same day is unheard of.
As I say I think it was a different courier firm.
