Parcel stuck at Heathrow Langley HWDC

According to tracking its being dealt with by ParcelForce, I'd contact them.

I did , they said its not in the country and still with USPS. Parcel force tracking shows it as in US
USPS tracking shows it as in Heathrow London.
Customs say they dont have it.
Parcelforce say they dont have it!

I cant find a contact number for USPS London Heathrow anywhere to contact them.

To be frank Customs always say they don't have it, but they have no system to track items, go figure.

If customs do have it a 7 day delay is not unheard of, all I can suggest is patience. 99% of items do eventually turn up.

I would keep checking the tracking though as once it does start moving then it should only be a few days before PF either deliver it, or contact you about it if there is a charge.

This is my first post on this forum so I apologise for hijacking the current thread. I too appear to be stuck in a dilemma with Heathrow DC. I have a camera lens inbound from Central Spain. I have tracking of the product to Heathrow DC on the 7th but after that, there appears to be nothing.

Royal Mail customer services were very polite and tried helping as much as possible but ultimately they have no idea what is happening with the parcel.

If anyone could be of help to this situation I would be very grateful.

Ok ...Posting message As Promised .....that my parcel from the USA via USPS was delivered by Royal Mail today Panic over!

I'll post its Itinerary up below as some people on here called out for updates from others that never came. It may give some of you a rough timeline for your own.

My parcel was a small box, just under the size of a ream of A4 paper. It contained a painting I won in a Charity Auction and was labelled as such on the Customs Declaration.
It was posted by the sender as First Class International and Insured.

When it arrived it looks as though it has been very roughly opened by customs at some point and lashed back together with an obscene amount of sticky tape and in a Customs plastic bag.
Tip: Wary that the contents may have been damaged I started taking photographs of the 'un-boxing' as I went, just in case the contents had been damaged through 'rough handling'.

Timeline was:

Posted in South Pasadena: 27th December 2016
Arrived USPS Facility Los Angeles: 28th December
Processed through facility and departed for London UK: 29th December
Arrived London UK: 30th December
No more updates until Jan 18th ...
Processed through facility United KIngdom: 18th January
Received a 'Charge to Pay' Notification Card via Royal Mail: 19th January Fee to pay £16.08 = VAT £8.08, Royal Mail Intl Handling Fee £8.
Paid the Custom Charge and Handling fee online as per instructions on the card on 19th January.
Earliest date for delivery: 21st January 2017
Delivered successfully: 21st January by Royal Mail Postman

It would have helped my blood pressure if it had flagged up somewhere that it was being processed by customs instead of keep saying 'In Transit to Destination' ..but at least it wasn't in that trailer fire!!

The other downside to this is by requesting tracking information and updates from the USPS website I had to give them my email, obviously. But since then my email 'inbox' has been inundated with bluddy Spam emails!! I know its them because I had to request it twice as they said after 15 days you had to re-submit a request and everyday now I get a duplicate of at least 25 spam emails i.e. 50 + emails a day. My antivirus detects threats and warns me to not open them so I cant 'unsubscribe', and flagging them as spam and dumping them in the Spam folder doesn't stop the onslaught of requests from 'Russian beauties, Asian girls, viagra, casino's, various claims of congratulations for thousands of dollar deposits into various accounts that just need confirmations etc etc etc ....
If my parcel had come on time when it was supposed to, even given a customs stop over I wouldn't have bothered trying to chase it. Even allowing for the bank holiday, having paid premium postage for quick delivery, I'm quite annoyed that it took so long to get to me once it arrived in the UK ....Royal Mail were quick enough and efficient once they had it ...But Customs need to get their act together their handling time is a disgrace.

EU Countries in general, are exempt tax, but they aren't exempt the legal, safety and security checks. As items are selected at random, not based on their contents, then its a lottery as to what gets delayed, and for how long. Its same problem for all incoming Customs in every country.

I am having the same problem, I ordered a parcel on the 20th December from China and the tracking system is saying it's been shipped to the uk and going to London Heathrow, I have contacted Royal Mail and they don't have any records of the parcel so wondering if anyone can help me find its whereabouts.
Tracking number is: LX239456600CN.

Royal Mail won't have any tracking until it clears customs. Customs have no tracking equipment.

It looks like it was misrouted and is now stuck in UK Customs. As soon as they pass it on to Royal Mail they will forward it to the Ukraine for onward delivery, as long as the address isn't in Crimea, Sevastopol, Donetsk or Luhansk Oblast. In those cases they will return to to the USA for them to sort out.

In the UK you would be able to make a claim, I would contact USPS to see if there is some recompense for their mistake.

This is only an opinion, but that looks like a RM scan and it also looks like they are sending it on to Ukraine. The reason I think this is that it mentions Heathrow as a transit.

Hopefully, it is heading towards you getting it soon.
