Ironically I revived a package that I unknowingly picked up yesterday (04/1) from a collection of 137 parcels and packages that day from a daily customer so you can imagine my lapse in concentration while scanning the things.

Today my son came downstairs at the crack of 11 am while his old man was working his bottom off for Parcelforce, to find a DO (no to neighbours) package doorstepped and bunged through the letterbox where the cat could chew through it (package contained gunpowder).

Problem is that the package has been sent in error and I will raise the issue when I collect tomorrow from the customer which is going to raise some flags. I'll have a chat with my rep tomorrow but I appreciate some input.

I don't understand most of what you've written, but how can something be doorstepped AND put through the letterbox? Also, why have a letterbox if it's not to be used?
