SD by 1pm (w/ Saturday delivery) not arrived

Hi all,

I ordered a package yesterday and used RM's SD by 1pm service (also paid extra for the Saturday shipping) but the package is yet to be delivered. The Track & Trace page is telling me that it's on its way to the Jubilee mail centre but I can't understand why it's being sent there as it's the other side of London to where I live.

Does this look like the package is lost? I'm extremely disappointed with RM, especially as my normal post has arrived today (late, albeit) and I've paid a fair bit to ensure that the package arrives today. The tracking number is AE623066355GB.

Jubilee handles mail for a huge swathe of London. For someone to give you a decent answer, you probably need to tell us if you live in East London, given that reference to Romford Mail Centre.

did you personally post this item and pay the extra for sat delivery? Or did you pay someone else as it looks like it hasn't been sent Sat Guaranteed and you will get it Monday

That is unless you now have it - I would ask to see the receipt ( if you didn't send it personally)

Yes - sorry. I live in East London. E13 is the postal region.

Somebody else posted it, so it does indeed sound like they'd forgotten the Sat Guaranteed. Thanks for the info - I'll give the company a ring tomorrow.

You'll be able to claim a full postage refund on this item.

What looks like has happened is that the item was sorted at Norwich and reported as being sent to Romford. Somehow either by miss-sorting or by the container it was in being miss-routed it has instead ended up at Jubilee. Jubilee have realised it isn't for them and have put it aside to be passed to Romford on the next available service.

At 1430 covering some lapsing yesterday, in full RM postperson regalia ie bright hi viz, red bag, red fleece, customer opens

I had one like that, got a confused look back when I replied - "No, thats the mail. your post is back there holding up your gate".
