Hi,
I am waiting for a package posted on December 14th. Since then, the tracker says:
Latest update: It's on its way

Your item, posted on 14/12/16 with reference RZ256740799GB has been received at our international mail centre and is being made ready for despatch overseas.
Does this mean that the package is being forwarded, or is it waiting in a warehouse in UK?
Can the tracker provide more details? (i live in France)

It means that it has gone into the pre-flight security checks. There seem to be a few delays at that stage at the moment. And no, there is nothing else that you can do.
