Delayed Package!

Post by goonz »

Hi there please could anyone assist?

I ordered an automatic watch from USA which on usps site states:

October 30, 2016 , 9:18 am
Departed
LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM
Your item departed a transfer airport in HEATHROW, LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM on October 30, 2016 at 9:18 am. The item is currently in transit to the destination.

Its coming up to a month and yet to receive or hear anything. Parcelforce have no clue and the PF site shows the package as still being in USA? I do order a fair few items from abroad and this is the longest anything has been stuck. Any ideas on where it might be please?

It will be stuck in customs. You are the second person this week with this exact query.

Thanks for the reply, apologies if its the same topic.

Is it normal to be stuck for close to a month?

Im guessing there is no way of getting this released any earlier as Customs are uncontactable.

Yes and yes.

If it reaches 5 weeks from the date of sending and your item still hasn't arrived then you can make a claim for loss or damage.
