I recently received a counterfeit good for a transaction I made, I have paid through paypal and now have had to open a claim against the seller to get my refund I just want to know is it illegal to send counterfeit goods via Royal Mail if so could you please provide documentation therefore this will strengthen my case, I have looked online many say it is illegal to ship counterfeit goods through Royal Mail however when I check the laws I can only see counterfeit stamps, money, etc
Any help is appreciated

I think trading standards would be your first people to ask about counterfeit goods. Each council has it's own department: ring your council switchboard, they should be able to put you through.
