it is if you are entitled to 12 weeks notice.

Pay in Lieu of notice is 9 weeks to 12 weeks pay dependant on length of service

Image

so if you have done less than 9 years service you get 9 weeks Pilon
10 years = 10 weeks
11 Years = 11 weeks
+12 years = 12 weeks/
Surely you get an amount equal to what it says in the picture? i.e if you've been employed for less than 2 years, you get 2 weeks PILON?

Fair enough. I've found this now - http://www.glosamal.co.uk/Docs/Group_Il ... nt_200.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; which gives more info.

12.4 Formal Notice Period
Retirement on ill health grounds in both cases will be subject to normal
contractual notice of termination of employment or 9 weeks notice whichever
is the greater (9 weeks notice will also apply to employees on trial where they
are being terminated on ill health grounds). This will be with pay.
