Does ON ITS WAY TOJUBILEE MAIL CENTRE mean that it has been through Customs and is on it's way or will it be another few weeks?

Depends - Jubilee can be used as a normal Mail Centre, but it is also used by Customs for overflow. I've been waiting for a parcel for a while, the tracking site says it arrived in this country on the 13th but has not yet been pressed. How do I know I know what's happening or if it's made it through customs or not?

The only way you will know is that Royal Mail will update the tracking once customs hand it to them. Customs do not update the status of items, nor do they provide any information on progress to RM or customers.

I sent 5 pages of A4 (certified copies of important documents) to Cyprus on the 4th of July, the Royal Mail tracking shows they were 'on their way to Cyprus' on 07/07/16, however the Cyprus tracking says with Langley HWDC on 07/07/16, which I have since found out is Heathrow. As the only important thing was that they get there, even a week would have been fine (and I didn't have access to a courier firm that day) I sent them by 'signed for' post.
Now, when I call Royal Mail it's like they've washed their hands of them! They sent them so they did their bit! If I'd known this before hand I'd have never have used the service, I'd have waited and happily paid the extra for a courier. Royal Mail are actually telling me that they've left the UK for Cyprus, but Cyprus post tracking shows Langley HWDC. When I complained I was told I have to wait further before I can make a complaint for compensation - I don't want my £6 back, I want the service I paid for.
I will not (and advise anyone else) never to use the Royal Mail to send anything outside the UK again. I had no idea it was a haphazard / hit-and-miss / we hope it gets there / fingers crossed / tired donut eating HMRC staff (who we can't contact!!) might use your post as a coaster for their coffee mug for 4 weeks / situation. Absolutely gutted, this is going to cost my firm a lot of money.....

It's quite unlikely that your item was held up at Langley, delays there in the outward direction are very rare. It's much more likely that they are held up in the Cypriot equivalent of our HMRC awaiting examination, this is a problem in many countries in the world including the UK (just look back down this thread).

The Cypriot tracking side says they are in Langley HWDC. Also, my Cypriot colleagues contacted the Cypriot postal service who also said it's still in the UK....
