I am currently awaiting some tickets which were posted out several days ago
when the company which I should receive my tickets for updated their systems they must have incorrectly updated my address so it has the correct postcode but a different town
instead of
The Paddock
Gas Brae
Errol
Perthshire
PH2 7PS
they put
3 the Paddock
Gas Brae
Perth
PH2 7PS
will I still receive this ok but maybe a few days late?

Can't say for certain, but if you are known to your postie it should be delivered okay. The machines short by post code, as do the Mail Centres so they should go straight to your postie.
However there is still a chance they could go astray as even though the post code is correct there is in fact similar address
3 Gas Brae, Errol, Perth, PH2 7QR but its not far from you (230 ft according to google maps) so it should be on the same route.

Was it Ticketmaster by any chance? I had an issue with them last year, for some reason there was no address revue screen before pressing "buy" and then they substituted my old post town for my new one (hundreds of miles apart!) However, my postcode was correct and the tickets arrived in 1 or 2 days by first class post, so I wouldn't be alarmed.
