Hi all,
I've been using /trackdetails for years, but recently I've been unable to access it; it now redirects to /track-your-item which is as much use as a chocolate fireguard.
I see other posts where people are still asked to use /trackdetails, but It just keeps redirecting for me. How are people getting it to work?
Tried on Firefox, Chrome and ToR, to no avail.

RM have changed their site, on the /track-your-item there should be button labeled "Where has my item been?" click that to bring up the details.Exinferis wrote:Hi all,

Hmm, can't see that anywhere. Tried an old tracking number but doesn't work with that either. Does it not work with items coming from outside the UK?

If you try this tracking number from an old thread RA879461215IT you'll see the button. Chances are that your item hasn't entered the UK yet, what country is it coming from and how long ago was it posted?Exinferis wrote:Hmm, can't see that anywhere. This is a good international tracking site but it runs just as well for Intra-country ones. http://www.17track.net/en/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Also the scan details are not left on for long, not sure of the timescale but seem to remember someone saying its only 3 months.

Yeah, no I know the item hasn't left China yet, but the old trackdetails used to show if the item was in the system, even if 17track didn't show anything. Wanted to check as my seller said he'd posted it last Monday, but it wasn't showing on either 17track or China Posts website. Having been buying from Asia for years I know it can take up to 4 working days for it to show. Since it still wasn't available Friday I just wanted to see if RM was showing it.
It's a real faff now! I liked the old trackdetails page, it was easy to find and gave a back-up when this kind of seller shenanigans kicked off.
