RM international tracked stucked "on its way"

Hi, I have never had problems with RM, but now I had to send really important documents to Canada and I used International Tracked (was told cant use anything else or signed for as address was PO box )

my parcel status is currently stuck from saturday on 'ON its way" and it makes me think although I requested tracking all the way it is not tracked all the way :( Tracking number is not recognized in canadian post and flight would not take so many days so how do I understand that?! I really worry as I cant get copies really and I need proof of delivery thats why I picked tracked so I know when its been delivered as this is only proof I got that my parcel and documents were delivered.

It was on left top corner on the front of course

It is correct that you can't send tracked and signed to PO Boxes in most countries of the world (there is a list of exceptions, but they are all in the Middle East or Africa).

The tracking is consistent with your item being stuck in customs. However, I think we have also had some complaints of the tracking not working properly in Canada, so it could be that. Both of these are much more likely than your item being lost.

I just hope after its scanned through after customs I will be able to see when it is delivered in tracking?

Thanks so looks like I won't have any confirmation it was received or not at all great. I wish I never sent with Royal Mail!

I have the same problem as you. I posted a large letter on the first march and tracking stopped after they left the UK. I can't find the tracking on canada post either.

I put the return address on the back though. It is my first time posting to canada. I didn't know they want the return address to be at front and I couldn't find such information on royal mail. I've posted to US before and it was fine.
Can anyone tell my parcel has been delayed because of that?

It has been over 3 weeks now. I hope it turns up.

With the return address not on the front there's probably a strong possibility that it'll be refused entry into Canada. I think Candian customs probably photograph every item entering Canada.

When I open tracking it says

"After your item has left the UK, the next update we will provide will be when our delivery partner attempts to deliver your item. This may take several days after your item has arrived in its destination country. For more detailed tracking information after your item has left the UK, you could try our delivery partner’s website.. ."

As it looks I will have confirmation if it's delivered might be very late but should be one.

Ah really? ;( I didn't know that. So it will be returned to me? It's so frustrating not knowing where my parcel is. It was my first time posting to Canada, I've posted to other places and it was fine. I didn't know they are very strict with it. Lesson learnt. How long do you reckon I'll expect to receive my parcel back? Sigh. Thanks for the reply btw.

Where do you check tracking? On the canada post? My tracking number does not appear on the canada post website :( I am frustrated.

yes once on RM website ot changed to ARRIVED IN COUNTRYTORONTO CANADA I was able to track it on canadapost


"07:10 MISSISSAUGA, ON Item was released by Customs and is now with Canada Post for processing
07:08 MISSISSAUGA, ON Item has arrived in Canada and was sent for further processing. "

must have been in customs and not showing anywhere
