im losing my hair, i ordered an item from the US it says it got to heathrow ok then i had to track it using a website called fullfillment 4 days ago it said the item had cleared the facility and was on its way....this morning it said the item had been delivered... I've been in all day so either it means its delivered to the parcelforce warehouse or its been delivered to the wrong address by parcelforce.
So after talking to USPS in america, i find out that its parcelforce who are their partners here in the UK and proceed to put the tracking number in their website and this message is displayed " It's on its way
Your item, posted on 06/04/16 with reference LZ*********US has been received at our international mail centre and is being made ready for despatch overseas.
This item was sent by Royal Mail. "
WHAT DOES IT MEAN BEING MADE READY FOR DISPATCH OVERSEAS?... HAS IT BEEN REFUSED BY UK CUSTOMS, ITS ONLY A DIET SUPPLIMENT FFS!

That is possible. The laws on what are allowed in such things can vary enormously between North America and Europe, with things allowed in one being banned in the other. For instance, North American toothpaste is banned from sale in Europe as the fluoride level in the former is way above what is considered safe in the latter. I have actually watched as trading standards officers seize tubes of Colgate from the shelves of a pound shop in the UK because it was the US / Canada version. I have no specific knowledge about diet supplements, other than that the US allow much higher levels of steroids in food than we do (see the book Fast Food Nation). Is the exact same product in the same formulation available in the EU? If not, it might have trouble getting through. With regards our customs being tough on this, the USA is, if anything, tougher and more eccentric. They ban haggis...
