We posted a large letter via International Tracked & Signed For on 25th February and our customer hasn't received it yet. So we tracked the shipment and here is the progress:

26/02/16 AM ON ITS WAY TOKENNEDY NEW YORK UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
26/02/16 03:45 ARRIVED (MDN) AT HEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC
25/02/16 20:36 ITEM COLLECTED CHESTER MAIL CENTRE
25/02/16 20:31 ON ITS WAY TOHEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC CHESTER MAIL CENTRE
25/02/16 15:54 SENT AT POST OFFICE The Square SY13 2DG
After over an hour of phoning Royal Mail the gentleman there also tracked it and couldn't understand why it seems to be at the Jubilee Centre and how it would have go there so quickly especially as if it was being returned it would have been sent to Chester. He said it was probably a system glitch but couldn't offer any more help. So we are now in limbo and have an unhappy customer in Florida. Does anyone have any insight as to what may happen next please?

Occasionally tracking points appear out of sequence on the tracking system. I have never seen any kind of explanation as to why that is, I suspect it's because the post who was handling it had a broken PDA so had to scan the paperwork in later.
Jubilee mail centre is the main mail centre for London. I wouldn't have thought it's there, much more likely that it is in US customs.

Amazingly I just checked the tracking again and this is what it said:
Status: Delivery attempted
A delivery was attempted for your item with reference RN233105154GB in UNITED STATES OF AMERICA before 13:20 on 07/03/16.
If the addressee does not collect it or make an arrangement to have it redelivered, it will be returned to the sender in the UK.
Wow!! Now its down to the customer :-)
