STUCK AT HEATHROW!

Post by aceisback »

A parcel is ordered from USA:

https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmA ... 02195420US" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

landed at Heathrow on Friday 19/02/2016 and still have not been sorted or updated.

I tried track and trace on Parcel Force and RM website and nothing.

Any ideas??? :neutral:

As with many other items, it's likely to be stuck in customs. See the other thread from today about mail from Thailand and regular delays of several weeks.

I spoke to RM they said it has moved but not been tracked. She couldn't even track it on her own system, she had to use another system which told her the info.

I'm guessing that's still a good thing that 'she had to use another system to get hold of that info' as it is still ON a system. You should have asked what she was tracking on?

Not to mention USPS' tracking system sucks ass. My item that was coming from America says 'Delivered' with a tick and I've not yet received my item. I searched around on the net and this was quite a common problem. Everyone slates their tracking system and says it's terrible - Basically you can't really trust/rely on the USPS tracking system i'm afraid

I am experiencing the same issues with several items. Do you know which service she used to track the item?
Which number did you call of RM?
Thank you

rang in the morning and I just used the LZ number and she used another internal system. I then rang again later in the afternoon and another person told me that they only just got to the airport. I keep being told different things! I just want my shoes! :(

...except that your experience has little to do with the other items in this thread, because it appears to have been sent to the UK in error instead of going direct to the Republic of Ireland. There was some tracking updated, this is from the RM website:

17/02/16 21:28 ARRIVED IN THE UK HEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC
21/01/16 09:48 ON ITS WAY TOILC MAIL CENTRE HEATHROW WORLDWIDE D

Given the amount of time this has taken, the sender should be able to claim the cost of postage from the Pakistan postal service, and you should consider making a claim against the sender (if appropriate). But before you do, you should check that the item was correctly addressed, including the words "Republic of Ireland" or "Eire".
