STUCK IN HEATHROW DC FOR WEEKS???

Hi,

I sent a package from Spain to the UK (London) on the 8th January by registered mail.

When I check the tracking it says it arrived in Heathrow DC on the 11th January, however it has not been delivered yet! Which timeline should be considered before making a claim??

Does it say anything after arrival at Heathrow? If not, it's probably stuck in customs, being there for a couple of weeks is fairly common.

Which timeline should be considered before making a claim??

You will need to check with Correos, but it's probably about 5 weeks from the date of sending for making a claim. That's how long it would be if sending from the UK.

Delays are still expected on the crossing from France to UK, which would have a knock on effect on the availability of outward bound transports and drivers. Our suppliers are trying to use alternative crossings where possible. There is no end date for this as the situation is continuing indefinitely.
