How long does it take?

Hi, i am expecting a letter from Romania ,how long does it take to be in UK if on 29 the letter left the the country?
The tracking code is RN893181137RO,i searchead on royal mail after this code, without hope. :))

It should be here any day now, but if it's coming through Royal Mail then there is no maximum time for delivery.

Next time when i need something important, i will tell the sender to send my letter with a pigeon, i think it will be faster.

I don't think you can blame Royal Mail as they haven't got it it.

Unless you think Posta Romana and the slower than a pigeon, even their site makes no mention of it being in RMs hand yet.

Ps We are NOT Royal Mail. This is a private postal forum and not anything to do with Royal Mail, except some of us work for them.

On the their sait will not apear the location of the letter after exiting de country, i tried with another code from last year. Anyway on Posta Romana says that afeter de parcel leaves the country, will not apear the rest of the journey.
Sorry, but i don't blame anybody, i just want to know where is my letter,I did not want to offend anyone.

Sorry for posting again but after 5 days my parcel it' still stuck at "Expediat din Romania - BSI Bucuresti ". Whan can i do ?
RM tells me that they don t have the letter, Posta Romana tells me that the letter left the country on 29 december.

I find Track17 usually better to track parcels, but no different info there. They are both correct, the item has left Romania, as it is now in the export area, but it hasn't arrived in the UK yet, as it still hasn't entered the country:

I spoke with somebody from the roumanian post, and he told me that the letter left te country.

If it's a parcel and not just a letter like you originally said that would indicate it's probably stuck in customs and delays of up to 4-6 weeks are not uncommon at this time of year

No, sorry, it's a letter with another 2 letter in it from a institution like VOSA and that's why is so important for me, without that letter i can't work as a lorry driver. I don't know how long i should wait and what to do. I asked somebody from roumanian post office and she told me that the letter is send, ok, the letter left the country, where is it becouse Royal Mail doesn't have it.
My letter left the coutry but nobody know where the is it, great.

This morning I checked the Royal Mail tracking and I've had a surprise. By clicking on FULL TRACKING DETAIL, I've seen that there is some information. The letter has arrived in UK on the 19th (yesterday) and it is now at Heathrow Worldwide distribution centre. I hope this gives you some hope. Good luck.

I can't find anything about my letter and i don't think your letter come today, it's just pass a scan today at heatrow.
If i put my trucking number on royal mail sait, tells me to try again, maybe my letter will apear tomorow, maybe, i f***ing hope so.:D
Can you post your tracking number here to compare with mine, please.
