Hi.
I have send away from UK to Denmark 2 packages at 19.12.15
First class so had to be there with in 3 working days.
One of them went with no problem, the second one have stuck somewhere. I can't contact anyone on phone to find out what's wrong.
When I am tracking it goes that fare:
02/01/16 07:36 ON ITS WAY TODO NOT FLY - NRC HEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC
22/12/15 00:41 ARRIVED (MDN) AT HEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC
21/12/15 20:50 ON ITS WAY TOHWDC AIRSURE PETERBOROUGH MAIL CENTRE
21/12/15 19:54 ITEM COLLECTED PETERBOROUGH MAIL CENTRE
19/12/15 14:43 SENT AT POST OFFICE 84 Central Avenu PE1 4LH
What should I do and how can I make sure it gets till Denmark.
(plus in my receipt the destination shows not Denmark but Poland, went to post office and she told me it doesn't matter is it true?)

Does it contain any lithium ion batteries? It's being sent to the National Return Centre in Belfast which is where "No Fly" items are dealt with

Re: Don't know where is my paskage
Your parcel has some sort of prohibited item which is not allowed to fly, it's been sent to Belfast national returns centre to remove the offending item which will then be disposed of, the remaining contents will either be sent to the adress or returned to sender
what exactly was in the parcel?

If so what happens from here?
Is there a number I can call or website I can go to?
The perfume was quit expensive and I would rather get it back then let them take it out and then send package again.
I am shocked that in post office she didn't tell me that its not allowed tbh.

Re: Don't know where is my paskage
The clerk should have asked you what was inside and you should have told her. This should have caused the clerk to tell you that perfume is banned from the international mail and refused to send it. This would have been annoying but at least you would still have the perfume. I don't think there is any way you will get the perfume back, Royal Mail will destroy it.
If the above did not happen you should complain to Post Office customer services on 03457 22 33 44. When you do this, please bear in mind that you have broken the law by sending perfume in the international mail. Despite this, if you are polite but firm you may well get some kind of payment by way of apology (probably not the full value of the contents). Just as importantly, it will help to show that there is a problem with the way this office are handling dangerous goods in the mail, and this will help to keep us all safe.

Re: Don't know where is my paskage
At the moment the status of my package is returned to sender but it haven't.
Status: Returned to sender
A delivery was attempted for your item with reference LY688441457GB in NATIONAL RETURN CENTRE before 09:21 on 12/01/16.
I was at work, but I don't have any note where should I go and pick it up?

Nowhere - it's being checked out at the National Returns Centre
10/01/16 08:58 SUSPECTED DANGEROUSGOODS NATIONAL RETURN CENTRE
You are probably best contacting RM direct and describing the package. However, 4 possible things could happen.
1. If there is nothing dangerous it will be sent onwards.
2. The offending item will be destroyed as per T&Cs and if lucky everything else will be sent on to you or its destination with a letter of explanation.
3. All items, including the non-dangerous ones, will be destroyed and a letter of explanation sent.
The least likely:
4. All items will be returned in due course if there is a return address.

Re: Don't know where is my paskage
Just one thing TBT:
That isn't an option, as the customer has stated that there is perfume inside and that the destination is outside the UK.TrueBlueTerrier wrote:1. If there is nothing dangerous it will be sent onwards.
