I'm being very fare.they are straight up lying I was watching all day for the delivery driver no1 arrived to try to deliver end of story .then they lie on the tracking site saying they tried to deliver.so yes they are clowns and don't deserve to be employed. How the hell am I going to get my parcel?do I just go to my local post office and show the dude my tracking number and demmand my parcel?as why should I lose another days work waiting in again for a bunch of jokers that won't even turn up to deliver then lie about it.yes I'm angry just like thousands of people ,plus the thousands of trust pilot reviews of parcel force is insane everyone is angry as hell with them they ranked 0.9 of of 10 lol not 1 good review

Ask the sender what address they put on the parcel to check that they've got the right address

funny you mention a dog.... If one was loose in the cul de sac that would be one reason why a delivery wouldn't be attempted, personally i would not even drive into the cul de sac and just drive away, anyway the op is repeatedly resorting to abuse of our colleagues which is wholly unjustified as he has no actual facts, but he won't be getting any help from now from me

ROFL he doesn't.

This is a site where colleagues from the Post Office, Royal Mail and Parcelforce communicate with each other and customers. They do it in their own time and voluntarily. Now what is funny is that you expect, and perhaps even getting close to demanding help when you accuse our colleagues of theft, lying, incompetence and stupidity based on only your own opinion.

Now you may be correct, you might not be, no one can be sure, but it you want a sympathetic ear on a workers forum may I suggest you cut out the accusations and name calling.

If you really want an answer then please use official channels and leave the abuse off this forum.

Also, grudgingly, I'll give you an insight."Delivery Attempted" doesn't just mean they knocked on your door. It can also mean that for any number of reasons they either couldn't get access to your property, road or area for any number of civil, operational or mechanical reasons.
