I sent a registered letter from Portugal to UK on 4 Dezembdro 2015 and the letter has not arrived at the destination, I wonder what's going on.

Thanks for sending the tracking number by PM. This is the information from Royal Mail's tracking system:

11/12/15 16:03 ARRIVED IN THE UK HEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC

... which means that the item is stuck in customs. Before Christmas, delays of 3 weeks in customs were pretty common, this is over 4 weeks but it isn't that unusual yet. Sorry.

It might be a good idea to apply for a refund from the Portuguese Post Office. Rules might vary a bit from country to country, but if this item was sent from the UK then you would now be able to get your money back on the postage plus the value of the contents (if it was worth anything). Doing this will not stop the letter from arriving in the end but it will help to show the postal services that there is a problem.

I sent a letter on 4 December Portugal to the UK which it has not yet reached its destination, it contains unique and important documents, grateful that it be delivered to the recipient. the object number is: RD679277341PT.

Sorry but we are not an official Royal Mail site, we can only offer guidance. Your best option is to go back to your own Postal Firm and get them to start an investigation.
