On its way to delivery office

Post by Dorkthrone »

Hi there!

Just after some general advice; my international item (tracking # LK000866311US) has been stuck at "on its way to delivery office from Heathrow" since December 29th. With New Year's Day, I realise this may cause some delays, but I just wondered if anyone knows of what the usual time frame is between this stage of tracking, it arriving and being sorted, then being put out for delivery?

Thanks in advance :)

That's an unusual tracking entry to see from Heathrow, when your post arrives today, check to see if you've got a grey card - there might be a customs fee to pay

Just checked the tracking again today, it says it was delivered to my PO box. Strange, considering I don't have a PO box! I'm going to take this as meaning I have a customs charge and they're holding my item until it's paid. Will keep an eye out for the little grey slip on my door mat when I get home from work this evening.

Yes, that's the most likely explanation.
