If it arrived at Heathrow on Christmas Day, then customs are more than likely still processing it. With all the bank holidays, this will take a little while. I wouldn't expect you'll receive your item any earlier than next week, maybe longer if there's a customs charge to pay. I had an item posted from the US on December 12th which only arrived at my local delivery office today, because of the Christmas rush and customs processing. I'd sit tight for a while, these things tend to take a little longer than usual, especially at this time of year.

Parcel Force won't be able to give you any info on your parcel, as it's not declared as "officially" in the UK by Parcel Force or Royal Mail until it's been processed by Customs. If your item is worth more than £18 then you will have to pay a customs charge. This slows down the item's progress by anything up to a month, depending on how busy HM Revenue and Customs are - at this time of year, they're swamped with parcels. The best thing to do is just be patient and stop stressing. It's likely to take another week or two before you have it.

Nope no one is lying. USPS scan at Heathrow as far as I am aware, they then pass it to Customs, then when they are satisfied they pass it to Royal Mail/Parcel Force or AN Other courier when it next gets scanned.
