They have to get it as near as acceptable as possible otherwise the waiverers and strike breakers will vote anything in, just to get out of going on strike.

Sorry it'll be 22 if RM get thier way.chayoliver wrote:agree i dont give a toss about the pay im just worried about the Pension and MTSF agreement

Yup! I was not trying to detract from the other issues which are oh so important but as DH says, we've been underpaid and overworked (not the other way around!!!) for some time. For example, when was the last increase on payments for D2Ds?! 10+ years ago yet I would bet my pension (!) that RM charge customers more for the service now than they did since then, eh?DirtyHarry wrote:Don't sell yourselves short, comrades. We're all worth a decent, fair, payrise without any of their poxy strings attached. End of.
If colleagues keep shouting "Pay 'aint an issue with me" , Royal Mail will take it on board and offer us feck all between now and doomsday.
A pay freeze, or 2.5% increase when the the inflation rate stands above 4%, just 'aint good enough. Our hard work, and dedication to duty, deserves
nothing less than a FAIR deal.
