Re: Delivery
Depending on where you are on the route it may be anytime over a six hour period if it is with your normal delivery postie - what time would your mail normally arrive ?
If he or she are on their day off, your delivery may be done on overtime after other duties are completed.
Tracked items are not time specific other than the advice you receive that they are out for delivery which should ensure you receive it that day.
Delivery couriers often text time windows to customers but they are delivering far fewer items to far fewer addresses, whereas Royal Mail posties may be carrying several thousand items per day (mail and parcel) to up to a thousand addresses so we cannot specify time scales - hope this helps.

Re: Delivery
I've been doing just that recently, relief parcels over a wide area. First one was at 7:15am, last one was at 16:00. There was no set route to deliver them, just get them all done. I don't think we can ever realistically give an accurate and reliable time window for delivery, due to the sheer quantity of parcels involved at this time of year.
