Also as it "doesn't impact our items" this cannot be the reason for our parcels to disappear. Maybe that is a code for RM that the parcels
are indeed checked by the customs...
Wait what? Are you saying that we ain't able to track our parcels?

It's showing on the GLS website now so German customs have released the parcel. I wish that every country could have a "Item Being Checked By Customs" barcode and an "Item Released By Customs" barcode

Wouldn't help in the UK, HWDC don't even scan their outgoings properly, hence the "non DUNs" we get on most tracked leaving the UK. Can't see managers adding more duties to allow such scanning of incoming.

Wonder if anyone has emailed Moya, it must be failing QoS by not scanning them in and out

They scan them, but not correctly. Reading between the lines they are scanning the individual items, but not the bags/containers they come in. I have seen individual items come through packets and when RLE scan them for tracking then the "ARRIVEDUNKNOWN BAG - MISSING DUN " shows up at the time they scanned it.

With then items that people post the tracking numbers for I've not seen a single one with a "Dispatched To" scan

this is what happened to my post to Romania, royal mail posted to Manila Philippines, I cant belief what royalmail does to as customer I don't know what is wrong with staff, they can not read it where post is send to and why they post to different destination and how it happen. deadline to receive my documents where is sent was 15.08.2015 now my documents was delivered to Philippine when they will redelivered and how it will be happening that.

bellow message is what royal mal staff replied to me today.

Good morning,

Thank you for contacting Royal mail.
Thank you for your email about an International Tracked & Signed item of mail you posted from the UK with reference number RN144745875GB

I am sorry to hear that this item has not yet been delivered. I understand that it has been wrongly sorted to Philippine even though you posted it to Romania so I hope you will accept my apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Although rare, whenever mail is inadvertently sorted to the wrong country, the foreign postal administration will usually notice this straight away. They subsequently sort it to the correct country as quickly as possible so that it can be delivered to the correct address without any further delays.

I would like to explain that we aim to deliver International Standard items within 3-5 working days after posting to Europe and within 5-7 working days after posting to the rest of the world. However, the aims are not a guarantee. We then have to allow 20 working days if an item is posted to Europe and 25 working days to the rest of the world. These delivery aims also include items being sent via our International Tracked & Signed, International Tracked and International Signed services. However, as your item appears to have been wrongly sorted on this occasion it will most likely take longer than usual to arrive and for this, I really cannot apologise enough.

The item you posted would not be classed as missing until 01.09.2015.

Please be assured the item will be forward on to it's correct destination.

I hope you have found this information useful and that this explanation resolves your enquiry. Please accept my apologies, once again, for any inconvenience we may have caused you and if there is anything else we can help you with, please let us know.
