Hi all,
Does anyone know what I should expect the Tracking listing on the Royal Mail website to show for a birthday card I've sent to Germany? The tracking reference if it's helpful is LB307705820GB
The reason I'm a bit perplexed is that it was sent Monday, but has not updated since Tuesday morning, and I'm unsure if that's because the tracking doesn't continue after it's left the UK?
I did glance at some other threads, and read something about strike action in Germany back in June... is that still ongoing? The nice lady in the post office expected it would hopefully get there by today (Weds), and the person who it's for's birthday is Friday, so I'm a bit worried about whether I need to start making alternative arrangements and send her an e-card or something instead.

It should appear on the tracking page for GLS https://gls-group.eu/EU/en/parcel-tracking" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; as it doesn't it's probably not yet arrived at GLS's main hub (which is also in Germany)

Will GLS still use the same Royal Mail tracking number that I got for the Royal Mail site?
EDIT: Ah, I see the Royal Mail site's tracker has actually updated tonight, and now says it's arrived in Frankfurt. I guess it just got held up at Heathrow for a couple of days.
