My Parcel Has Not Shown Up
Hi there I brought a Item from eBay. The seller posted It on 29.6.15 by 2nd class via Royal Mail Signed For. And now It Is 10th July and waited for about 2 weeks now and It has not shown up. Should I ring my local post office to see If It Is there? Thanks for your time.

No contact the sender, he has the responsibility under distance selling regulations to get the item to you. He has subcontracted the delivery to Royal Mail so he should contact them, not you.
The Post Office won't have it anyway. They are 2 different companies now.

Re: My Parcel Has Not Shown Up
Well I tracked my parcel on RM website. It says returned to sender and when I clicked on full tracking details with this status.

I don't know how my parcel ended up there. Does that mean I can collect my Item from that office then? Thanks for your time.

You could but without the red card they won't/can't hand it over.
However as you have the tracking number you could try booking a redelivery online - that MIGHT work. http://www.royalmail.com/personal/recei ... redelivery" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
But if it has gone back to sender then I would contact them and get them to resend.

Re: My Parcel Has Not Shown Up
I had a packet returned to seller. There was no red card left. I had to pay the seller another £6.40 to have it reposted as he was informed by RM that I had failed to collect it from DO.mike20036 wrote:What do I put In for redelivery since they never left a red card which Is very strange.
I asked my postman why he had not left a card, and he said that another postman had been covering his round that day and had run out of cards.
If your DO isn't too far you might try going there with proof of id and address and explain what has happened. They might be able to help you.

I can't believe my postman never left a red card. I just contact the seller and ask for a redelivery. And pay another £6.00 for postage.baldrick wrote:I had a packet returned to seller. If I remember correctly all you need is the tracking number and your own name and address details.

Re: My Parcel Has Not Shown Up
The strange part is there's no entry there for a attempt at delivery, which I would have expected to see in the tracking

Re: My Parcel Has Not Shown Up
Hi Mike, I'm not trying to apportion blame or make excuses but I've know people to have picked up pizza leaflets from their door mat and put them straight into the bin no noticing a red card is alongside them. Another possibility is the postie ran out of cards and intended putting one through the next day but was moved on to a different delivery, fell sick, or simply forgot. Either way not great but RM handle millions of packets per week and 99.9% get through no problem. Have a word with your postie if you spot him he wont bite, hopefully.mike20036 wrote: I can't believe my postman never left a red card. I just contact the seller and ask for a redelivery.
