To coincide with the introduction of the national agreement unit payments will cease and the 3 items per week cap will be removed. D2D monies will be turned into a delivery supplement paid 52 weeks a year for all delivery employees (OPG and ORR) pro rata for part time employees.

Above taken from the agreement -

Now please tell me once more that we get nothing for D2D's ! :arrrghhh :arrrghhh :arrrghhh :arrrghhh

we don't

Some of the money FROM D2D and some money from the old shift allowance we put together and formed the new allowance

Receiving this is not dependent on if you deliver D2D but on where you work

A person that delivers D2D gets the allowance, a person who does not deliver D2D gets the allowance

We do NOT get paid for delivering D2D - we get paid based on our work location

Ok so where it says D2D monies will be turned into a delivery supplement is a load of crap and in your world means nobody gets a penny for D2D items. :arrrghhh :arrrghhh

We all get a payment irrespective of if we are delivery, mail center etc.
That's all i'm saying here - we all get a payment and it's from D2D's - not for delivering D2D's.

Its a budget exercise - the MONIES that used to pay for D2Ds (a volatile budget) has been moved into the Supplements (A fixed budget).

If the Various Supplements, of which Delivery is the highest, do indeed pay us for D2Ds, then why did they introduce Mail Centre Supplement, Bundling Centre Supplements and others, when they never got paid for them.

The one thing we can agree on, without the name calling, is that the wording of the agreement is poor, but then that's been the case since "The Way Forward" agreement.

The South shouldn't get an equal share on this?
Leaving aside the ridiculous "debate" that has followed, it is a fair point.
Either way, half the workforce are going to be disappointed.

Perhaps concentrating on basic pay, rather than variable and manipulable bonuses would be a better aim.
