Track and Trace help
Hi, I ordered some items online on 08/05/15 and paid for Special Guaranteed Next Day Delivery. I was given a tracking number in my confirmation email via a link to the Royal Mail website. When I checked it at 11.30pm last night it said it had not been processed. I then checked it again at 6.30am this morning (09/05/15) and I got the same message about it not being processed. I was about to contact the vendor, but I decided to check again and the message had changed to 'we have received your item and expect to deliver it by 11/05/15. ( I didn't pay for Saturday delivery as there was no option through the vendor). Now this has happened before and the item was still delivered on a Saturday. So on the off chance, I tried the tracking number again at 8am and it had changed 'to your item has been received at the delivery office and is out for delivery' It's now 11.15am and still no sign of it. (My post is usually here by 10.30am at the latest) As I didn't pay for Saturday Guaranteed, would it be possible that it doesn't get delivered today, even though it is meant to be out for delivery? Also why does the tracking and trace service not always update correctly? This is not the first time this has happened

An update.. It came. We got a new postman who told me my address was the hardest to find in BT8. To be fair it isn't easy. I still wonder about the track and trace not updating though

Try the tracking number at http://www.royalmail.com/trackdetails" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (it gives more details), what entries are there?
