The reciept doesn't prove what was actually on the parcel though. You seem to only want to blame the postie but not wanting to try and actually find out what has happened to parcel, people make mistakes it's not a crime, delivering parcels is not always as easy as you say, from experience there is many many reasons why this parcel can go astray many of them not the posties fault many of them are the posties fault, to list just a few more bad hand writing, your name not on door, similar name on nearby number, no name at all on parcel,

Yes thats correct but as i also stated tyere hav been at least 10 complaints over the past few months in my block alone about post not gettin delivered. Now i ddnt knw anythin about that as it wasnt my business but now that my post hasnt been delivered even tho it says it has its not my business. Now it might well be there was problems with labeling etc but i find that very hard to believe as it is always the same postie and he kniws our names etc now this cld be the time when different postie and im not blamin postie for whoever has taken it and not bothered returning it thats a different matter but for me not havin card put through door that i do blame him for, somethin about my town but alot of the posties r very very lazy when it comes to delivering parcels, the most common one they do is put a card throgh sayin they tried to deliver when they actually didnt. But until i see more sayin it isnt the postie then he is gettin the blame as it was left to royal mail to ensure delivery which hasnt happened. Like any other major company the postie is tue face of the comoany and as such should ensure everythin is done to keep himself covered. Its onky a small street and as i knw by postcode bein correct that is only 30 different properties with that postcode and none of them hav numbers that might be mistaken for another one. But if it comes down to it and its is 100% the posties fault then he isnt gettin off lightly mainly because there has been so many complaints recently about the deliveries

Yes i dont kniw ifnit was the same postie we always get the same one but he as i havent spoken to him yet i dnt knw if he was maybe off that day. Also the name is states on the signature isnt my name and asi dnt knw who it is then to me it is a random person, also since it was delivered over a week ago thhats how i knw they havent been that busy where i live on the bottom floor and to leave the block u hav to go past mine so they cld easiky chap my door. These arent assumptions. Also the fact i asked all neighbours in block and they say they dnt hav it means either they r lyin about havin it or postie gave to just someone in block without doubke ccheckin they live here, also that no card was posted through my door then that means postie never done that, and it certainly isnt the 1st time round my town posties have been known to lie and steal around here.

why is anyone trying to help you when all you seem to believe is posties are lazy and thieves thing to do on a posties forum

As this thread is going round in circles and the customer is not taking on board any suggestions we may as well close this thread.

Just a bit of advice to customers, please don't accuse posties of stealing without evidence, its called slander/libel and is actionable in a court of law if it turns out not to be true, and the postie can identify that they are the one being libelled.

Also its worth mentioning that when you come on here for advice, calling all posties lazy and accusing us of theft is not likely to get the help you are looking for. Especially so when you threaten them with "not getting off lightly". This is a posties forum and we will naturally defend colleagues, if you want to accuse us then use OFFICIAL channels not RMC.
