Hello,
quick question...
How can my parcel say 'returned to CO' and then have updated to 'on delivery' 11mins later? And what does returned to CO actually mean? Is it their way of saying returned to sender?

Do you have a PO Box Number and if so is it delivered daily.

But even if not it looks like the first of the scans you mention has been done in error and the second scan is the one to correct it.

No it's just being sent to my house address.
My post came at 8:10 this morning anyway, meaning there is little chance that the post-van could have travelled the 20ish miles in 17mins (looking at previous tracking of parcels to my address it takes them more like 1hr at least). I know it's very early to be questioning it (especially in postal terms) and I'm hopeful that it will come in tomorrows mail, but am anxious as it was a delivery I was relying on having by bank holiday Monday. I guess it could even be on a different van arriving this afternoon, it's happened before very occasionally.
Thanks for your reassurance, it more or less confirms what I was thinking/hoping. Will be a drag if it has been returned to America for some reason (cannot imagine why), especially as it made it all the way to my local PDO!
