Hello
This is my first post on here so please be gentle. I use RM a lot so have often wondered about joining such a forum and sharing experiences productively.
So, to my query. Last week I got a card saying there was a customs fee to pay on an item I'd purchased from the US. I duly went online to the mentioned RM site and paid the said fee. I was asked via a drop down menu what date I'd like the item delivered on and I opted for Tuesday 7th April. Come Tuesday, I still hadn't received my item. Come Wednesday, and still nothing.
Should that first date of Tuesday have been honoured by RM? If not, how long should I reasonably be prepared do wait and is there anything I can do to get the item now that I've paid the customs fee?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Should of been put out for delivery after showing up as paid (on Cleo), might be worth contacting the office that issued the card.

For a card to be issued your item will be in your local office.Trawler127 wrote:Should of been put out for delivery after showing up as paid (on Cleo), might be worth contacting the office that issued the card.
Sounds like they haven't been checking/actioning online requests for re deliveries or payments of surcharges.
Best advice, if you are able to get yourself down there with your grey card, some ID and proof of payment (if you have it).
If not give them a call and they should be able to get it out to you next day
