Track & Trace, are you having a laugh?

Post by junger »

How can the company call this service 'track & trace', Enter your T&T number, result " We have got it", and?, 'no about it', thats it.
Now then, Track & Trace is what all the other (some less expensive) carriers do, i.e, " 2.00 am In our Warrington Depot", i.e "7.30am Out for Delivery".
Even you own customer services does not know where the parcel is, This is in contridiction of the Trades Description act and should be reported

A very dodgy service, oh and the last time I will use it.

Ha Ha, I have just seen my previous posts, 2011, 2012, and I have commented on the exact same issues, forgot about that, some things never change

@junger

http://www.royalmail.com/trackdetails" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That gives more detail then the default RM tack and trace and imho that should be the standard track and trace for RM

Junger,

thanks for flagging up that you had posted on here before, I had a look at your old posts, e.g. this thread:

http://www.royalmailchat.co.uk/communit ... 51#p448951

Maybe you could prove that you aren't a troll by posting the track & trace reference number and/or it's output?

Sorry but this is a bit out of order the guy is asking questions s in a customer forum on here I don't think that qualifies as being a troll or needing to prove he isn't one

Just reviewed this customers posts from the last few years. They never ask questions, they never debate properly, make no concessions to the fact that we post on here voluntarily and condemn us for defending RM and then wants us to improve how RM are perceived. They state in one post that they're not here to rant or depreciate the workers, yet every thread does that.

I am stating this as I have locked the thread, and will lock any other thread started by them that does not ask direct questions or asks for advice. The reason for this drastic action is that all the other threads have repeatedly responded to the customers points and they have either been ignored or the thread has descended below the level of behaviour we expect in this particular area of the forum. To stop that happening further, and to protect members from disciplinary cases I think this is the only sensible course of action available, except of course for the ultimate sanction of Banning them.
