Diecast cap gun going Scotland held at Stansted?

Post by tdw »

Hi,
I sell toys online, I sent a diecast toy cap gun to a customer in Scotland by RM 24 Signed for. Contacted by customer saying it had not arrived, I checked the tracking and found that it was being held as a suspicious package at Stansted. I have sent this same item many times before all over the country even to Northern Ireland and it has not been seized. Is this something new?

I read that from Royal Mail. From experience does it mean they will release it and deliver or should I send a replacement by courier? Hasn't happened before with this item.

They'll probably release it once its been checked out - if you have the tracking number then @royalmail on twitter may be able to give you an update
