Just why was the comment silly?

If you guys were put in the same position as many of your customers - ie waiting to get a cheque to make ends meet then you would get this dispute and any backlog sorted ASAP.

Frankly having done the job at Christmas as a temp a paper round is probably the best analagy!!

Get it sorted or get another job

I admit I'm a useless bastard who constantly writes letters to the papers about things like late busses, the non-availability of Swizzles, and the lack of serious music on the BBC Light Programme, but you would do the same as me if you were a complete and utter tool. So, I'm waiting for that Danish porn I sent for. At £20 a magazine, you would be concerned too. Put yourself in my place. I'm as ugly as a bucket of horse s**t. I smell like a bucket of horse s**t. I can't get a girl friend, and you commie bastards are denying me my only pleasure. Bastards!
Try not to worry pal. Go and lie down for a while. You'll be alright. Poor sod!

That will quickly end the dispute and speed up the catch up on the backlog!!

Oh yes! This bloke still has a wind up gramophone and listens to Henry Hall on the wireless. He lives at home with him mum, is 57 years old, and still has his gloves tied on a piece of string through the arm holes of his duffle coat (which has his name sewn inside).

But you lot had just jolly well better watch out tomorrow. As soon as I've finished writing that letter to The Daily Mail about women priests, I'll be on here complaining about you red flag waving bastards! Mummy! The posties are going to get me! Can I sleep in your bed?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Why else do you suppose I'm like this? Well, I must go now. Whenever I get too upset, my combover falls down over my ear and mummy says I look quite silly.
Yes, you get that head of yours sorted out mate. Sleep tight! You soft bastard you!
